Toyohari is the most refined style of Japanese Meridian Therapy. It is known for its very gentle and effective techniques including non-insertive needling. Practitioners use highly developed palpation skills to feel ki (energy) in their diagnosis and treatment of patients. The founder of Toyohari was blind, as are many of the Toyohari practitioners in Japan today.

Before becoming a metalsmith, I worked in the school administration for 5 years at Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I loved working there and am grateful to continue my connection with healing and the acupuncture community by offering these tools. As a craftsperson, I value well-made tools and strive to offer the highest quality silver, gold, and platinum tools at reasonable prices for Toyohari practitioners. I handcraft each tool, and welcome custom orders. Please contact me with any questions you may have.
